Bratati Bhattacharyya

Bratati Bhattacharyya is a passionate Entrepreneur & Educationist and a lifelong learner with a PG in Economics from the University of Bombay and a PG in Financial Management from IGNOU. Governor’s Gold Medalist from Jadavpur University and recipient of Merit scholarship from the University of Bombay.

In her 30 years of working experience, Bratati started as an Investment banker and, after seven years, joined the Education sector. She moved up the ladder from being a high school teacher to now the Secretary-General and CEO of a 100-year-old educational institution, Shikshayatan Foundation that administers and manages its four units, Marwari Balika Vidyalaya, Shri Shikshayatan School, Shri Shikshayatan College and Calcutta Business School, a group comprising of 10,000 students.

She is on the board of different Educational Societies and schools, Co-Chairman of the Education Committee of CII ER and member of the Education Committee of BCC&I.

She engages in skill development & capacity development. Apart from being a speaker and a panellist for several workshops, Seminars and Webinars, she has written and published several articles on education. She enjoys coaching school educators, and she has visited several countries to learn best practices. She believes in globalization and borderless education.

Professor Santanu Ray

Santanu Ray

Professor Santanu Ray, FCA, CFA, is a Management Educator, Corporate Director, Author, Coach and Institution Builder. An academic with a strong presence in the corporate world, he is a full time Senior Professor and Mentor to the Faculty of Management, Commerce & Economics at Sister Nivedita University. He is also Director of the University’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell and heads its Sports Management Department.

Prof Ray’s footprint in the industry involves his position as an Independent Director of seven reputed Kolkata-based companies listed on Stock Exchange – Century Ply, Star Cement, La Opala, Bharat Road Networks, SKP Securities and Genesis Exports. In addition, he is the Principal Adviser of the Shrachi Group.

Starting his career with Tata Steel (Tubes Division) in the early ‘70s, where he had an exponential rise, Prof Ray succumbed to the pull of academia and left the corporate world to join ICFAI Business School as its founder Director, a position he held for almost 10 years. Subsequently, he served in the roles of Campus Director at NSHM, Knowledge Campus Director at Future Business School and Chief Mentor at Bengal Institute of Business Studies.

Prof Ray has authored four books on Brand Valuation, Human Capital Valuation, Strategic Cost Management and Creativity & Innovation, apart from several research papers on Strategy & Finance.

Swati Sarawagi

Swati Sarawagi is the Founder Director of Swarnim International School, a K-12 co-ed CBSE School in Garia. She has been involved in the field of education for over 11 years as a teacher in both Singapore and India.

She is an M.A. in Psychology and Bachelors and Masters in Education Australia and is an alumnus of the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is a member of the Board of Governors of Heritage College, Kolkata, an undertaking of the Kalyan Bharati Trust and a member of the School Managing Committee of The Heritage School, Kolkata.

She is the Territory Head, Kolkata of the Early Childhood Association (India) and a member of the Association for Early Childhood Educators (Singapore).

Bhargavi Maity

Bhargavi Maity is a senior leader with 19 years of experience in Program Management with the software industry and the development sector. Along with managing multiple large scale critical Core Banking Solutions and program operations with Government(s), spanning across geographies and technologies she has experience of handling programs and technology interventions of NGO and specialized in Quality Assurance practices in Banking and Financial domain for Products.

SWS is to benefit immensely with her understanding of Government practices and policies for engaging the civic society, client servicing and cross-cultural skills backed by multiple years of international experience across Africa, JAPAC, Europe, UK, and the Middle East.

Navanita Lahiri

Navanita Lahiri is a professor of English and a Fulbright Scholar (SUNY, Buffalo) with a PhD in Culture Studies. (IIT, Roorkee) She has a penchant for learning, discovering and exploring new horizons, which has exposed her to varied levels of Education (high school to postgraduate, university courses to corporate training) and the KPO (Knowledge Process Outsourcing) industry. She led Projects at Karvy Global Services, worked in HR, taught in business schools and was a corporate trainer for Soft Skills. She even co-founded a business research and consultancy company. However, her core competence lies in forceful teaching, writing and editing skills.

Dipjyoti Deb

Dipjyoti Deb is a Venture Partner at BSH Startup Kitchen in Munich, Germany. After finishing his research in the field of quantum phenomena at Helmholtz-Zentrum Germany, he joined Bosch Research in Stuttgart as an expert in the Quantum technologies team.

He was also in the Bosch Center for Artificial Intelligence in the heart of Silicon Valley and started to work with startups. He lived in more than seven countries, including Germany, Ireland, Finland, the USA, Hong Kong and Spain.

His vision is to enable, empower and excite innovators to impact humanity and society. Dipjyoti is a Startup advisor for various programs (e.g. the Noble peace prize-winning World Food Program) and passionate to build bridges between Startup, venture capital and the strategic innovation focus of corporates. He is highly motivated to bring education to all and involved in several projects in Africa.

Malati Majumdar

Malati Majumdar has over 30 years of experience in the Financial Services sector. She has served in a reputed organisation in the Mutual Fund Industry: LIC Mutual Fund, Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund, Lotus India Mutual Fund, Religare Mutual Fund. Her last stint was with CAMS (Computer Age Management Services), India’s leading Registrar & Transfer Agent, before bowing out of corporate services in 2015.

Malati has rich leadership experience in Operations and specialises in the finer aspects of customer delight, service delivery and excellence in processes. She is passionate about nature, wildlife and diversity, and finds travelling and photography especially exciting.
