Prasenjit Sarkar

Prasenjit Sarkar, an educationist, writer and art lover, started his career in the media industry. After two years, he joined the social sector and imparted Pre-primary and Primary Teachers Training and Vocational Training to women. He is one of the important founder members of the organisation. Passionate about public relations, administration and community development, he has capacities for field interventions and coordination. He has conducted several workshops and seminars with in-house and external resources/institutions. He puts his ideas and guidance in planning and developing strategies, identifying gaps, liaisoning with stakeholders and guiding financial management.

Radha Arakkal is a marketing professional with a passion for the arts. She started her career in advertising, working with global advertising agencies, including JWT, Leo Burnett, and Universal McCann. After 15 years in media strategy and brand strategy, Radha moved to the area of market research and analytics. For 11 years, she advised brands worldwide with winning insights for profitable growth. In 2018, she decided to transition to the social sector. Since then, she has been consulting in the sector and mentoring small NGOs. For SWS, Radha has been a mentor and evangelist. She has supported fundraising, growth planning, marketing strategy, and communications.

Satarupa Majumder

Satarupa Majumder is a primary and secondary school teacher with a specialisation in pedagogy. She has worked with the British Council as a workshop coordinator. She is responsible for the curriculum development of Swapnopuron. Satarupa is accountable for writing proposals, monitoring projects, supervising all programs, supporting implementation, planning programme teams, liaisoning with different government and non-government sectors. She has attended several workshops by CII, US Centre, CINI, MSME, and Asian College Of Teachers. She is also a GAP Changemaker.

Shibani Chakraborty is a former CDPO with the Department of Women & Child Development, Government of West Bengal. She has in-depth knowledge of child development, health and nutrition, child protection, child rights, child abuse and other child-related issues. Shibani conducts workshops with children, mothers, and youth and also TOT supports in preparing action plans for programme teams. She is in charge of the child protection team of Swapnopuron Welfare Society. She has attended several workshops by the Government of West Bengal, CINI, Ramakrishna Mission Narendrapur and CARE.

Biswajit Saha 

Biswajit Saha is responsible for maintaining statutory matters related to finance/accounts, IT, annual audit and fixed assets. He is passionate about children’s education.

Santwana Basu, M.A (Applied Psychology), University of Calcutta, has 18 years of experience in teaching. She completed a Diploma in Teachers Training from Calcutta Training Society in 2000. Later on, in 2013-14, she took a one-year certificate course in basic counselling skills for interpersonal conflict management from Jadavpur University. She is the Director at Casa-Dei-Bambini Montessori House

Aparajita Saha

Aparajita Saha is a post-graduate in Home Science from Viharilal College, Kolkata. She has been a Dietician at the Sambhu Nath Pandit Hospital. After her retirement, she founded the diet institute – Nutridiet.
